Classical Theatre with a Latino flavour, Maria wants to sing for you and conquer that negative voice with her songs.

El Vito! a one woman show takes us on her journey with music from Brazil, Spain and France.

Opera singing without the Opera! El Vito! A one woman show is a unique theatrical experience.

About the Artists

Marina Poša a graduate of the Qld Conservatorium of Music, furthered her vocal studies in Italy and England. After a hiatus from performing in 2017 she followed her passion for singing and art song creating an opportunity for performance promoting songs rarely heard in the form of a multimodal show El Vito! Partnered on the piano by fellow Qld Conservatorium graduate Julian Wade. Both Marina and Julian are described by Farrago Magazine, Melbourne, as “soulful” and “powerful” performers.

Since El Vito’s debut in 2017 it has played on the Sunshine Coast, Ipswich and Brisbane. In 2018 El Vito! was chosen to participate at the Short + Sweet Festival on the Gold Coast then in 2019 offered a season at the Butterfly Club in Melbourne. In 2020 after postponements due to Covid-19 El Vito! A one woman show performed to enthusiastic Brisbane audiences at Reload Espresso Bar.
