“I look in the mirror and what do I see? A woman, a girl, waiting to be free, of all that they told her she had to be” I am Maria! A story of transformation, empowerment and acceptance. An evening of poetry, music and artwork from around the world. A show that will inspire and move you.

About the Artists

Marina Poša a graduate of the Qld Conservatorium of Music, furthered her vocal studies in Italy and England. After a hiatus from performing in 2017 she followed her passion for singing and art song creating an opportunity for performance promoting songs rarely heard in the form of a multimodal show El Vito! Partnered on the piano by fellow Qld Conservatorium graduate Julian Wade. Both Marina and Julian are described by Farrago Magazine, Melbourne, as “soulful” and “powerful” performers.
